New Year Skin Resolutions

With the New Year started it is a good time to begin healthy skin habits! We only have one face so we have to be sure to treat it right! Here are a few quick and easy tips to jump start this year as your best skin yet!

Be sure to drink lots and lots of water!—-we all know this but sometimes we would rather have a soda than water…But remember that water flushes out toxins, makes our skin glow, and is zero calories!

Use a Moisturizer!—- Using a moisturizer daily works wonders for our skin! It hydrates your cells and makes your skin look plump and not dry! Keep in mind that dry skin looks older…and no one wants that!!!!! Bonus*** our foundation looks smoother when you use a moisturizer!

Sun Protection is a Must—- We have to protect our skin with SPF…sun spots or age spots show up later in life from over exposure to sunlight. These spots can make you look older and it is better to prevent than to correct! It is important to use sun block every day! We are receiving sunlight even through the clouds and through the windows in our cars!

Apply an  Eye Cream—The skin under our eyes is the thinnest on our bodies (which means it is the most delicate) Using an eye cream keeps that skin elastic and moisturized. In many woman this is where their first signs of aging begin… It is never too early to begin using an eye cream!
